Whether you’re looking for fun or fitness, there is plenty to get that body moving here at Wairakei Resort Taupo.
Our luxury Taupo Hotel’s fully equipped fitness centre is very spacious with a great range of equipment, including elliptical cross-trainer, treadmill, cycle, Swiss ball, free weights and many weight-training machines. Enjoy chilled filtered water while you work out.
A squash court is also in the fitness centre complex of our luxury Taupo resort, and we have two flood-lit tennis courts in our grounds to enjoy. Racquets for both are available to borrow from Reception. After your workout, relax in the sauna or spa pool.
Of course, if that all sounds too energetic, you could just enjoy a social game of Petanque in a pretty garden setting….and Petanque is one sport where drinking a good glass of wine whilst you play is entirely encouraged!
